Purpose: The edifice was built for the port store, Packhaus, as it was called in German style. Nowadays the building houses the largest zoological museum in the country, especially known by several mammoths delivered there from Siberia.
About Museum: The museum may be interesting for children. As for the adults, it produces a depressing impression because of a huge amount of dusty stuffed animals and birds. Working hours: 11am-6pm, day off: Tue. and every second Wed. of the month. Tickets: adults – 250 rubles, students – 150 rubles.
