Old Stock Exchange
Place: Spit of Vasilyevsky Island On the map
Architect: Jean-François Thomas de Thomon
Purpose: Initially the building was built for the stock exchange, until recently there was the largest naval museum in the country. Today it is empty, the museum moved, the fate of the building remains uncertain.
Notable features: On the pediment of the building is a sculpture depicting the sea god Neptune and next to him the figures representing two great rivers, one of it some people say is Neva.
